Paul Craig Roberts has done an excellent op ed on the role of government and its ever-expanding thirst for power. Roberts points out that power grabs are never cut back but always expanded. Like the RICO statutes, that were only to be used on the mafia and now apply to anyone, anytime the government sees fit. Roberts points out Obama’s kill list has now expanded to include people conflicted with governments other than our own. The power to kill without trial is a marker of dictatorship.
