A Long Island man with a long history of being harassed by the police for filming them in public, has filed a civil suit against the Suffolk County Police Department. Although the obvious illegality of such harassment has been proven several times in court recently, more lawsuits like this are needed to make the police actually stop hassling and arresting those who film them in public.
